Our Hastelloy X Coil Wire offers exceptional performance in furnace rolls or other industrial furnace applications because of the alloy’s strong resistance to oxidizing, reducing and neutral atmospheres. In addition, Hastelloy X Wire is widely used for a variety of chemical processing parts, including retorts, pyrolysis tubing, and muffles due to its exceptional resistance to stress – corrosion cracking. Our Hastelloy X wire is normally supplied in the solution – treated condition, following a treatment at 2150 Degree F (1175 Degree C) and rapid cooling. Bright annealed parts of Hastelloy X Wire are cooled in hydrogen, where high – speed steel or cast – alloy tools are recommended. The machinability rating of our Alloy X Coil Wire is 27 %, where slow speeds, positive feeds and rigid equipment are the order of the day. Alloy X Wire has low hardness, good ductility and good weldability, making the metal easy to fabricate. Our Alloy X Wire has a low work – hardening rate, but it may be cold worked to moderately high strength levels while maintaining ductility.

of the material is maintained and no damage in the last stages of
production. We recommend Plywood cases or pallet packaging to ensure
safe packaging and prompt delivery of the ordered consignment. X
Hastelloy Wire come with imprints relevant to the job information (eg,
heat number, size, material and part number). This information is also
printed along all delivered Wire. Hastelloy X AMS 5754 Wire packing will
be according to international standard in bundles strapped by strips
then into containers to avoid any damage.
